For many children in high-risk underfunded communities the simple idea of graduating to the next grade can seem impossible and without the necessary support and encouragement from family, peers and the community many students will not achieve a high school diploma, let alone a college education.  Now with an alarming increase of budget cuts within the school systems many students are losing the one thing that keeps them engaged, sports and recreation.

 L. I .V.E. Like JT is a campaign designed to encourage children to strive towards academic and social excellence.  With four key messages, our goal is to equip as many children as possible with the skills and opportunities they deserve despite their environment. We work with local schools and after school programs to create safe and healthy surroundings for students to socialize through sports and play with an emphasis on education. 

Professional Athlete Jason Thompson launched the L.I.V.E. Like JT Campaign to afford impressionable youth the opportunity to excel academically as well as socially. As an advocate for education Jason understands the important role knowledge can play in sculpting ones future. His wish is to enable children to reach their full potential regardless of their background, social status or circumstance. Jason believes that when you learn something new, imagine the possibilities, use the voice you have and continue to educate yourself, anything is possible.
